“The Sentinel is a simple, low cost, and rugged, single channel vibration protection monitor that is capable of operating in remote, unattended, and harsh environments. The Sentinel Vibration Monitor is simple to install and operate. It can trigger built-in solid state relays based on configurable alarm levels. Additionally there is a built-in time delay that prevents false trips, or triggering of the alarm functions from transient increases in vibration level during normal operation. The Sentinel is simple to install, and mounts directly onto the machine skid or bearing housing to measure the vibration. Typical applications include vibration protection monitoring for cooling tower fans, centrifuges, and electric motors.”
