"The 1108E is a good choice for testing broad- and narrow-band microwave systems and components such as amplifiers, antennas, attenuators, beacons, crystal mounts, hybrid junction, preselectors, radars, and receivers. It can also be used to make specific measurements of bandwidth, attenuation, frequency dial calibration, image refection, sensitivity, power gain, VSWR and other characteristics. Provides uncalibrated power output of at least 10 mW from 6.95 to 11.00 GHz. Outputs available include CW, square wave, or FM, without external modulation"
