"The Abbott Pain Management Provider is an ambulatory pump designed to deliver analgesia to patients in hospitals, outpatient treatment centers, or at home. It has separate modes to cater for epidural use or patient controlled analgesia (PCA) use. In each mode, drug delivery can be continuous, continuous with boluses on demand or boluses on demand only.
Single-channel pump designed to deliver analgesia for epidural or PCA pain management. Can also be used for other therapies which require rates at or below 25 ml/hr involving continuous or bolus infusion.
Can by programmed in three units of measure: milliliters (ml), milligrams (mg), or micrograms (m g). Program locking capability, remote bolus cord, carry case; optional pole-mounted lock box, printer and accessories."
