"Magnetic-inductive flowmeters (MID) are ideally suited for measuring the flow of almost all conductive electromagnetic liquids, as well as for sludges, bulk solids and slurries. The one precondition: at least minimal conductivity within the medium. Temperature, pressure, viscosity and density have no influence on the measurement result. The magnetic flow measurement principle is based on Faraday’s law of induction. When a conductor within a magnetic field is set in motion, a voltage is induced within the conductor.
